Watch out Phil, that's a pretty sick drop behind you!

A part of the Sara Park ride. Here's where you can 'go jump in a lake'. See those little black dots? Ducks.

A rather unusual object found in the Arizona backcountry. Try to avoid eye contact.

This is why I refer to it as 'Rock County'.

A very tough ride on the Cherum Peak Trail, 3000 feet above the Hualapai Valley. The trail ends at Cherum (shrum) Peak, above 7000 feet, highpoint of the Cerbat range. This peak was named for a famous Hualapai leader.

Here's the Mohave County Trails association regulars, out for a little six mile stroll in the wilderness. I had to really puff to keep up with this crew. That hill was steep!

Here's what you may expect when exploring the huge boulder piles mentioned in the Fowler Trail page. The best caves are found high up in the piles.

Ole Phil, gettin' down 'n dirty on the Fowler Trail. This is one of the less scenic parts of the trail. In the background is Lookout Canyon, and an actual wet spring. Look out for cowpies!

The hiking around Secret Pass is awesome. It's hard to get a good photo, because the scenery is so huge and close up.

Sometimes you gotta take lunch where you can get it. Note: cactus has a very 'sharp' flavor.

A rare glimpse of some range horses, near Peach Springs.

At sunset, on the way to Castle Rock.
